No complicated setup. Copy the link, paste it and download.
Open the public carousel post in the Instagram app or a browser, tap Share (or the three dots) and choose Copy link. A carousel is the post you swipe through.
Paste the link into the downloader box at the top of this page. The Paste button works on supported browsers, or you can paste by hand.
Press Download, wait for the result card and save the photos listed there, one by one.
A carousel packs several photos into a single post, and Instagram gives you no save button for them. This page lists the photos from the post so you can save the ones you want, without screenshots that crop and shrink them. No app, no account and no password.
To save carousel photos, copy the link of the carousel post, paste it into the box at the top of this page and press Download. The photos from that post are then listed for download. This page is made for carousel posts; a single-photo post belongs in the photo downloader.
A carousel, sometimes called an album post, is a single Instagram post that contains more than one photo. You recognise it by the small dots under the first picture and by swiping left to see the next photo. Creators use carousels for step-by-step guides, before-and-after shots, product views from several angles and photo sets that belong together.
Instagram treats the whole carousel as one post with one caption and one link. That single link is what you paste here. You do not need a separate link for each photo, because the post link already points to the full set, and the downloader lists the photos that belong to it.
On a profile grid a carousel shows a small layered icon in the corner of its cover photo, which tells you there is more than one photo inside. Open the post and swipe: if a second photo slides in, it is a carousel. If nothing slides, it is a single-photo post, and the photo downloader is the simpler choice for it.
The link you need is the link of the whole post, copied from the Share menu or the browser address bar while the post is open. Do not paste a profile link, a Reel link or a story link here. Those point to different formats, and each has its own tool on this site.
After you press Download, each photo from the carousel is listed in the result, so you can save the photos you want one by one. There is no single combined file: you pick each photo and save it, which also means you can skip a photo you do not need instead of downloading the whole set.
This page does not offer a ZIP download. If you need several photos, save each listed photo in turn and they will collect in your downloads folder, where you can move them into an album. The list keeps the photos separate and clearly labelled, so it is easy to see which ones you have saved.
The photos are listed in the order they appear in the carousel, starting with the cover photo and following the swipe order. Saving them in that order keeps a step-by-step guide or a before-and-after set in its intended sequence, which matters when the photos only make sense together.
Quality is the quality Instagram provides for each photo. A sharp original stays sharp, and a photo that was uploaded at low resolution stays at that resolution. This page does not upscale, sharpen or otherwise change the photos; it saves them as Instagram stores them.
Carousels, Reels and single photos look similar in a feed, but they are different formats and they belong in different tools. A Reel is a video, even when its cover looks like a photo, so a Reel link belongs in the Reels downloader. A single photo belongs in the photo downloader, and a story belongs in the story downloader.
If you are unsure which format a post is, open it and try swiping. A post that swipes between photos is a carousel. A post that plays is a video or a Reel. A post that disappears after 24 hours is a story. Matching the link to the right tool is the fastest way to a working download.
Step-by-step help is in the carousel download guide. For a single photo try the photo downloader, for a video try the HD video downloader, and for everything else start at the main Instagram downloader.
Paste the link of the one carousel post, not the profile, a Reel or a story. Each format has its own tool.
Private, deleted or region-restricted posts may not work. Check that you can open the post without logging in.
An incomplete link is a common cause. Copy it again from the Share menu in Instagram and paste it in full.
If the post has only one photo, use the photo downloader instead. A single photo is not a carousel, even if it looks similar in the feed.
If another carousel works, the problem is with the first post, not with your device or browser.
Only if you own them or have permission from the creator. Carousel photos can be product shots, portraits and artwork that belong to other people. Saving them for personal viewing is one thing, but reposting them, using them in an advert or claiming them as your own without permission can break copyright and privacy rules. Follow Instagram’s terms and the law where you live.
Open the carousel post in Instagram, copy its link, paste the link into the box at the top of this page, press Download and save the photos listed in the result.
